Job Descriptions
  • Lead and drive the Sales & Marketing (S&M) team to meet the company's annual sales targets.
  • Analyze and establish annual sales forecast and budget, in joint consultation with the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Strategize and be fully accountable for S&M initiatives to deliver sales targets through RFQ conversion, attract new customers, enter new market segments (local and overseas), manage these segments, resolve customer queries/complaints/feedback, and visit customers as needed.
  • Manage the S&M annual operating budget and ensure expenditures stay within budget, with readiness to adjust according to Management's directives.
  • Lead and participate in weekly/biweekly/monthly sales calls with customers to ensure business needs are on schedule and to address issues early.
  • Conduct market research and generate reports for Senior Management on needs such as business trends, market intelligence, and pricing trends of customers/competitors.
  • Supervise and guide the S&M team to enable smooth daily operations and to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop the S&M team by building and upgrading competencies to foster independence and high performance.
  • Foster close relationships with various departments and prioritise deliverables.
  • Grow the company by seeking new business opportunities, building and sustaining client relationships, exploring strategic partnerships, and devising plans to boost profits and market share.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in an Engineering Field
  • At least 10 to 12 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Preferably possesses a Class 3 License
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Meticulous with a sharp eye for numbers and details
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
