Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities Receive, verify, and process invoices for payment, ensuring they match purchase orders and receipts to avoid discrepancies. Cash flow preparation and monitoring. Close monitoring of funds to ensure sufficient funds are available for payment. Schedule and execute payments, adhering to payment terms to maintain good vendor relationship. Ensure the monthly closing of accounts payable and year-end accounts payables reports are in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with statutory requirements. Ensure internal controls and policies are complied with group policies, local statutory, taxes and audit requirements. Any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned from time to time. REQUIREMENT Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Able to work independently and lead a small AP team. Proficient in English language – written and spoken. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, be independent and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Can-do attitude and a self-starter. High problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experienced with Sage, SQL Accounting system is a plus.
