Overview

Operations Core Project Lead Analyst, Vice President (Internal Job Title: Operations Core Project Lead Analyst - C13) based in Singapore. Citi’s Issuer & Investor Services Operations supports clients’ business by leveraging Citi’s global footprint to provide local expertise and scalable solutions. The role is part of a team that enables clients to meet opportunities and address challenges.

In this role, you’ll be part of a team that provides resources to meet needs, empower healthy decision making and manage financial well-being for the future. The position is focused on leading one or more projects within the operations domain.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
  • Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis aligns with business objectives and that project plans meet business needs as described in project initiation documents.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones.
  • Escalate project risks to the Project Director or Project Sponsor when appropriate.
  • Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
  • Provide sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Directly affect the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citi, clients and assets, complying with laws and regulations, and escalating or reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in relevant fields. Experience in Custody/Funds product in a Custodian Bank environment is an advantage.
  • Fully knowledgeable on day-to-day activities of a product or process; basic understanding of the firm’s businesses and related economics; subject matter expert in one or more specific skill sets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how own area and others integrate to achieve business objectives.
Education
  • Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
