Senior Airport Emergency Officer (January 2026 Intake) – Changi Airport Group. Role focused on saving lives and minimizing property losses; equipped with in-depth aviation firefighting skills; an indispensable member of a specialized team required to perform rescue and firefighting operations during an emergency. In peacetime, you lead and guide your unit, prioritize the development and training of personnel.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a group of firefighters; oversee command and control operations at aircraft incident/accident sites; coordinate the collaborative response of multiple agencies during crises.
- During peacetime, guide your unit’s direction and prioritize the development and training of your personnel.
- Training progression: a comprehensive 3-month Basic Airport Fire Fighter training (covering firefighting principles and ICAO-compliant handling of aircraft incidents/accidents); followed by a 1-month Airport Fire Officer course to enhance leadership for small team tactics; followed by a 1-month Senior Airport Fire Officer course focusing on leadership in incident management.
- After training, you will be assigned to an airport fire station to apply technical expertise and gain operational experience; rotations may include postings to other airport fire stations or military airbases for diverse experiences and challenges.
- Interest and passion for rescue work; ability to handle the physically demanding nature of rescue tasks; resilient mindset; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; a degree in any discipline from a good university.
