Summary

The Financing & Securities Services (FSS) business has a unique footprint in Asia, Middle East, and Africa, and offers a growing range of products, including direct custody, global custody, funds services, trustee services, transfer agency, prime services, and agency securities lending, to a number of client sectors including banks, investors, intermediaries, sovereigns, fund managers, insurance companies and corporates.

The jobholder is responsible for Product Management of FSS' Global Custody, including: (i) enabling a competitive product suite that will retain the existing book of business; (ii) developing new products and services to respond to market changes and generate new revenue streams, especially in the Investors & Asset Owner client segment; and (iii) ensuring these are done within a controlled and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

• Dynamically manages the entire suite of FSS' Global Custody-related products.
• Rationalizes the existing target operating model of FSS' Global Custody and associated product suite to maintain competitive edge.
• Identify opportunities to drive further growth for FSS.
• Ensure an efficient & simplified operating model across Global Custody components, including: Contractual Structures; Operational Services; Treasury, FX & Cash; 3rd party agent network; Client Services; Ancillary services (such as fund order routing, contractual services, withholding tax services).
• Leads the Global Custody Product Management function to drive client agenda and business goals.
• Manages regional and local product resources to provide insights on industry developments, market changes and competitor offerings to identify threats and opportunities and offer innovative product solutions.
• Collaborates with FSS stakeholders and cross-functional teams to realise cross-product, cross-business opportunities.
• Maintains close contacts with key clients to stay informed of industry priorities.
• Leads the FSS Global Custody Innovation agenda to outpace industry peers in thought and delivery leading to commercialisation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in Custody Business including 10 years in Global Custody Product Management with strong expertise in Treasury and Cash Services in a global market environment.
• Demonstrated experience with a major Global Custodian.
• Strong leadership experience with engagement and retention results; able to manage diverse & multi-discipline teams.
• Deep international market knowledge & client buying behaviours; Securities Services Custody product knowledge.
• Experience developing and executing client segment strategies (especially Investors & Asset Owners).
• Strong sales skills with experience in RFIs / RFPs, client presentations, and workshops.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth and credibility with clients and industry forums.
• Highly organized and an exceptional communicator; able to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
