**Job Description**:
Regional Sales Director, APAC
To meet the growing demand for our Investment management, trading and accounting solutions, SS&C Advent & Eze is seeking a Regional Sales Director to be based in our offices in Singapore or Hong Kong.
As the Regional Sales Director, you'll be the leader of a high-performing team and responsible for developing and executing our strategy to grow our market share in the APAC region. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales EMEA & APAC.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and guide a team of high performing sales managers to close new business as well as back sales to existing clients.
- Support the local sales team to work out client proposals (software solution, services plan and commercial terms and drive and manage sales cycles from start to finish, i.e. from lead generation to close.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities and develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the APAC region.
- Reporting to senior management on region’s performance, opportunities and forecast pipeline, manage revenue recognition issues and deal closure.
- Collaborate with relevant influencers in the industry to promote SS&C Advent & Eze solutions, enhance brand visibility, and drive marketing initiatives.
- Attend and represent the company at local industry events, trade shows, and conferences and establish and nurture connections with potential clients and partners at these events.
- Internally be the local senior leader across functions. This role will actively interact with various cross-functional team members including Solution Consultants, Professional Services, other members of the Sales team, Legal, Accounting, Operations, Data Specialists, Product Managers, Marketing and various members of Senior Management. Leverage internal relationships within the organization strategically to successfully secure and close deals
Desired Qualifications
- University degree educated.
- 10 years of corporate-level sales with 5+ years selling in the buy-side community or investment management industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading Sales or Marketing teams, with a focus on coaching and mentoring to develop team members and drive business success.
- Proactive, think “big”, analyse the investment management market trends and needs and translate these into a strategy for success in the market.
- Effective communicator and ability to work cross functionally with different teams across the business.
