Perform general accounting functions including revenue accounting, payable processing, billings and preparation of monthly management reports and audit schedules. Facilitate the annual financial audit field work. Assist in generation of additional reports for annual Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting Exercise and Half-Year Review.

A. Accounting and Finance

  1. Perform daily interface of the collection summary records of the following centres into the AIMS/SMART System as well as process student refunds and its relevant reconciliations.
  2. Prepare required journal entry to facilitate monthly accounting closure.
  3. Process and maintain Project Accounting.
  4. Perform bank reconciliation for S4K (designated DBS Account).
  5. Prepare monthly audit schedules for relevant accounts.
  6. Prepare quarterly GST return.
  7. Liaise with auditors on the annual field audit
  8. Assist in annual tax queries.
  9. Assist in the collation of the monthly management reports for SBU meet, including preparation of Financial Reports at S4K level.
  10. Generate additional financial reports for purpose of half-Year Review, Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting as well as keying in budgets for new financial year.

B Others

Undertake any other adhoc duties or projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Working with various center and departments to ensure timely and accurate records for accounting purposes

C. Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  2. Diploma holder with at least 5 years’ or degree with 2-3 years’ experience in the related field is required for this position
  3. Preferably specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
