Credit Analyst (Large Corporates/ MNCs) - Associate Our Client A global financial institution which boasts a deeply rooted and expansive franchise in Asia, with an uninterrupted presence since the mid-19th century. Today, the group operates across 13–15 markets in the Asia Pacific region, with over 19,000–20,000 employees. The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with 3-5 years of prior corporate credit experience. The role supports Relationship Managers in analyzing and monitoring the credit risk of a portfolio of corporate clients, preparing high-quality credit proposals and memos to support approval of credit facilities. The key client focus would be Large Corporates, Asian Conglomerates, Commodities Firms, China-linked Corporates, and New Economy (EV, Fintech etc). Credit Analysts with past experience managing deal sizes USD100m-150m or above, and covering clients with sales turnover USD500m or above would be preferred. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Product Partners to gather and assess client information to identify and mitigate risks. Deliver complete, concise, and coherent counterparty and credit risk analyses in line with internal guidelines. Prepare comprehensive Credit Proposals to enable informed decision-making by the Credit Committee. Ensure timely submission of credit proposals and accuracy of data inputs across internal systems. Support Relationship Managers in credit process-related matters (planning Credit Committees, handling credit requests and related documentation). Monitor portfolio performance, including compliance with conditions, financial covenants, data quality, and risk alerts. Stay updated on credit methodologies, policies, and industry practices. Share insights and contribute to the development of industry intelligence. Contributing Responsibilities Present Credit Proposals to local and, when relevant, regional Credit Committees. Participate in client meetings with Relationship Managers to deepen understanding of counterparties. Contribute to discussions on potential transactions. Support projects aimed at improving credit process efficiency. Assist with portfolio, credit administration, and statistical reporting as required. Contribute to the internal control and compliance framework.
