Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for VI process for creating new recipes for production, development, and engineering samples activities.
  • Recipe optimization to improve process quality, yield, and reliability.
  • Responsible for sustaining stable assembly VI performance/yield and monitoring process performance and risk during project implementation related to quality, productivity, cycle time, and cost reduction.
  • Creating or updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), Process Instructions, and OCAP.
  • Analyzing and resolving assembly process-related problems, particularly defect correlation/validation from upstream processes and VI issues causing rework and holds.
  • Performing statistical studies to validate process capability and scalability.
  • Establishing optimal processes and supporting training for operations/technicians.
  • Developing process and material specifications for VI, including reject and acceptance criteria.
  • Developing Process FMEA, TCM, control plans, and characterization reports.
  • Performing process optimization through DOE, material, and equipment assessments for development and qualification.
  • Providing offline support during non-office hours to resolve quality and yield issues.
  • Validating and implementing customer-specific requirements at VI process.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferably 5 years of experience in back-end assembly operations, particularly VI process.
  • Experience with VI (TnR) machines like Uenoseiki, ASM, MiE is an advantage.
  • Experience with reel packing and vacuum sealers is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge of DOE, SPC, and other quality tools.
  • Self-starter and team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English communication and writing.
  • Knowledge of SPC/Power BI is an advantage.
