  • As an IT Field Service Officer at MKS, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for our clients. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and upgrading IT equipment and software, as well as conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal system functionality. Reporting to the Manager of Field Service Operations (FSO), you will also handle purchase orders and assist with network-related tasks.Your impact will be felt through your ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems efficiently. You will collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT solutions while documenting all service activities meticulously. Additionally, you will provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.To excel in this role, you should bring 8-10 years of experience in a related field and demonstrate technical proficiency in IT systems, hardware, and software. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent customer service are essential for success. Your organizational skills will be put to the test as you manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records of service activities.Preferred skills such as ITIL certification and knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Service Now are advantageous but not required. Physical stamina is necessary as you may need to lift and carry IT equipment, travel to client sites regularly, and remain in a stationary position for a significant portion of your workday.If you possess technical certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), it will be an added advantage. Your adaptability to new technologies, willingness to collaborate within a team, and commitment to continuous learning will set you up for success in this role at MKS.Please note that the physical demands of this position include sitting, standing, and typing for extended periods, manual dexterity and coordination, and occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds. You will operate in a professional office environment, heavily relying on computer and other office productivity machinery. Noise levels are typically average, and you must be able to exchange accurate information effectively with others.,
