Safran is an international high-technology group operating in the aerospace (propulsion, equipment and interiors), space and defense sectors. Safran Helicopter Engines is a global leader in helicopter propulsion. The role sits in the Sales and Customer Support department and focuses on market analysis, forecasting, fleet management and business performance review to support customer engagement efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with the business development team on new sales campaigns and projects.
  • Support the team by providing market intel, analysis and pricing benchmarks to secure contracts.
  • Lead fleet management and forecast for existing major contracts to improve profitability and contract performance.
  • Gather market intelligence and perform market studies to develop business in key strategic markets.
  • Support new sales campaigns and projects; analyze key business parameters including sales forecast, aircraft deliveries, flight hours and contract profitability to achieve company objectives.
  • Implement and lead regular contract performance reviews with Account Managers.
  • Support management in business reporting and planning to headquarters.
  • Lead mid-term forecasting and budgeting by consolidating actionable market intelligence.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date market analysis models to support management in charting new business strategies.
  • Maintain and improve existing analysis models for better efficiency and accuracy in business forecasting.
  • Create and maintain data dashboards using the CRM tool and PowerBI.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), VBA programming and PowerBI.
  • Self-starter, fully independent and autonomous with the ability to adapt to different tasks and objectives.
  • Team player able to work with different functional teams and stakeholders to achieve a collective target.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize with changing needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
