Senior Manager/Director – Finance – APAC

DP World is seeking for a Senior Manager/Director – Finance – APAC to be based at our Regional office in Singapore. In this exciting role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance functions across the APAC region. This includes Financial planning and analysis, financial and management reporting, controllership, tax, compliance, internal controls.

This leadership role will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial insights to support executive decision-making, while also maintaining strong financial governance and enabling regional growth through sound financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes across the region, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with Group Finance requirements.
• Deliver complete and insightful financial reports to APAC Executive Management and Dubai Head Office on a monthly basis
• Coordinate the submission of regional financial data and commentary for Group-level consolidation

Financial Governance and Controls

• Review, develop, and implement financial policies, standards, internal controls, and procedures in compliance with IFRS and local regulations
• Ensure proper financial stewardship and alignment with corporate governance standards across all APAC entities

• Manage the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors and the Dubai Head Office to ensure smooth execution and compliance

Tax and Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance in the region, including GST, VAT, and corporate tax, with a specific focus on Singapore and other key jurisdictions
• Ensure timely and accurate filings and lead engagements with tax authorities where required
• Support financial due diligence, valuation, and financial modeling activities
• Set up internal and statutory financial reporting frameworks, systems, and governance structures
• Oversee financial integration aligned with DP World's processes and systems

Transformation and Operational Efficiency

• Champion finance transformation and process automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and agility across finance operations
• Drive continuous improvement in cost controls, working capital management, and reporting capabilities

Team Leadership and Talent Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional finance team, building capabilities to meet current and future business needs
• Foster a high-performance culture with clear succession planning and career development pathways

Business Partnering and Strategic Support

• Partner with regional and cluster business leaders to drive commercial performance and strategic decision-making
• Provide financial analysis and scenario modeling to support new business cases, investments, and operational initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Serve as the finance liaison to Group Finance, Legal, Strategy, BD and other functions at the Dubai Head Office
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators across the region

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor Degree/Masters in Finance, Accounting, Economics or CPA/Chartered Accountant or equivalent
• At least 10-15 years of progressive Finance experience with at least 3-5 years in regional or Corporate Finance leadership role
• Candidates from Logistics and Supply Chain industry or having to work in similar industry with APAC exposure will have a strong advantage. Knowledge of Contract Logistics will be a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive insights that shape business strategy
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and APAC financial regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; capable of influencing across all levels in a matrix organization
