The Master of Arts in Translation and Interpretation Programme (MTI) at NTU is seeking experienced part-time instructors who excel at teaching courses on translation, localisation, project, and data management. A proven track record of practical experience in handling corporations and clients at multinational, regional, and local levels, with the knowledge of applying cutting-edge project management tools and software, is preferred. The instructor’s responsibilities include designing the course syllabus, conducting lectures and student consultations, designing assignments, administering assessments and grading, and providing constructive feedback to support student learning.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.
- Candidates should have a master's level degree in Translation and Interpreting (T&I) and/or a postgraduate level degree in project & data management. Preference will be given to candidates with strong industry experience in translation project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- The successful candidate is expected to use both Chinese and English as the medium of instruction and to commence duty as soon as possible.
