HR Manager - Preferably with Security Industry Background Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage recruitment efforts such as writing and posting ads.
- Develop and revise company’s handbook on HR matters.
- Conduct full on-boarding process of new hires and orientation related activities as well as exit interviews.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Conduct salary survey, develop budget and implement benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Proactively build and ensure a continuous supply of strong talent pool through constant and effective sourcing techniques for open jobs and in anticipation of future talent needs.
- Work closely with managers to understand the hiring requirements, project and build future pipelines, and source for suitable candidates through appropriate recruitment platforms.
- Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles).
Job Requirements:
- Degree
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
- People oriented, versatile with interpersonal and ethical conduct skills.
- Excellent decision-making and strategic thinking.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Knowledgeable on employment legislation matters including CPF, MOM and IRAS matters.
