Overview

Senior Legal Counsel (Private Banking/PWM) - Financial Institution

My client is a leading Financial Institution and we are recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel for the team in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support and strategic advice to Private Banking and Wealth Management business units, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and alignment with client-centric service models.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documentation relevant to private banking operations which include: Distribution and referral agreements, NDAs and service-level agreements with external providers.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory implications of new product offerings tailored to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
  • Support cross-border regulatory initiatives and ensure alignment with international private banking standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Lawyer
  • 5-8 PQE ideally
  • Experience in the financial services space
  • Open to lawyers with no in-house experience
