Sales Support Specialist (Transformer Components) - Korean Market

• As a Sales Support Specialist at HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, you will be a key member of the Indian Operation Center in India (INOPC), contributing to the development of a global value chain. The primary goal is to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across markets by sharing key business activities, resources, and expertise across geographic boundaries.Your role will involve supporting the Transformer Components Business for the Korea Demand side Team throughout the Sales Process. You will be responsible for writing value-added proposals for mainstream transformer components such as Tap changers and Bushings, ensuring they are accurately captured in current tools. Additionally, you will review and comment on customers" specifications and requirements to determine the appropriate solutions for proposals. Identifying potential risks in bids/estimates/quotations and selecting products based on customer specifications will also be part of your responsibilities.You will participate in Risk Reviews and internal negotiations, check stock availability for spare parts, prepare and submit technical/commercial tenders for internal and external customers, and engage in negotiation/clarification during the bidding process. It will be essential to prepare Guaranteed Technical Particulars and interpret manufacturing drawings for Tap changers and bushings with reference to IEEE and IEC standards.Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring cross-collaboration within Components factories and Sales teams, and tracking the status of potential opportunities from Customer/WCFE will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also handle order handover to the Project team and arrange kick-off meetings with the internal team for executing orders.In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous, along with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Sales. Knowledge in Power Transformers and Transformer Components is essential. You should have the ability to handle high load capacity by setting priorities and possess proven interpersonal abilities with various stakeholders.
