Why the Operations Graduate Programme?
Barclays is a hub of activity and opportunity, supporting everyday financial needs and large-scale economic projects worldwide. Behind the scenes, our Operations team ensures systems run smoothly—processing payments, maintaining credit card systems, and handling trades and financing—making them the heartbeat of the bank.
Real Responsibility from the Start
After five weeks of intensive training, you'll join our team, building a solid foundation in Operations. You may be part of the Global Markets Operations or the Cards and Payments team. As a full-time analyst, your responsibilities could include:
- Performing KYC tasks in line with Client Due Diligence and AML policies
- Monitoring real-time transactions and trade updates for accuracy
- Managing incidents, problems, and change requests to improve services
- Supporting process improvements and best practices
- Reconciling fees for cleared derivatives and handling complex processing activities
About Barclays Operations

Candidate Profile
Applicants should be undergraduates expected to graduate between December 2025 and June 2026, with a minimum GPA of 3.2. We seek individuals with a customer-focused attitude, adaptability, tech-savviness, curiosity, and a disruptive mindset—those who enjoy turning data into insights and communicating effectively.

Role Purpose
To support daily operations by providing insights and expertise to help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products, and identify market opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Perform KYC and AML procedures
- Monitor transaction flows and trade updates
- Address incident and change management issues
- Support process improvements and best practices
- Reconcile fees for derivatives and handle related activities
- Participate in training to enhance skills
