Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager, Business Development and Marketing

Established in 1992, the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is the only full-fledged communication school in Singapore and a world-class centre of excellence with an international faculty, state-of-the-art research laboratories, and global institutional affiliations.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Academic Team as Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager, Business Development and Marketing . Reporting to the Academic Lead, the incumbent will assist in business development, outreach, and recruitment for our undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth for WKWSCI’s Graduate and Continuing Education (CE) programmes.
  • Understand market demand, trends, and competitors for postgraduate and continuing education offerings.
  • Represent WKWSCI to articulate the value proposition for graduate and CE programmes to senior management of corporations and alumni.
  • Formulate and execute engagement plans to open new markets and forge industry/corporate/alumni partnerships.
  • Drive lead conversion from marketing campaigns and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design new CE/executive programmes for external organizations and alumni.
  • Identify new markets for recruiting undergraduate international students.
  • Develop relationships with prospective Higher Education institutions to market undergraduate programmes, explore scholarships, and admission opportunities.
  • Establish effective communication across platforms to meet student recruitment goals.
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote our programmes’ brand and positioning.
  • Manage marketing campaigns and events for outreach and recruitment, locally and internationally.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with 6-8 years of experience in business development and marketing; experience in education/training industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales and marketing tactics, proposal support, and progress reporting.
  • Experience with lead management, database management, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Meticulous planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Customer-service orientation and positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
