The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. We are looking for a project officer to support the project entitled "AI-Empowered Robot Manipulation System Design". The project officer must have significant experience in the development of robotic functional coding and hardware deployment. The project officer will be responsible for the integration of developed sensing, perception, and control algorithms in given robots and validate their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconfigure hardware/software settings of purchased robotic equipment.
  • Deploy developed algorithms in software in each robotic equipment.
  • Validate and report performance of those algorithms in field deployments.
  • Work with other team members to guide FYPs and DIPs students and prepare project progress reports.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or any other relevant fields.
  • Familiar with robotic programming with at least two years in robotic programming and system integration.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
