ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team and help drive the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-impact software solutions. In this role, you’ll lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering excellence throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll be part of our Singapore-based engineering team, working closely with cross-functional partners located in the U.S. to deliver innovative solutions to our customers. This is a hybrid role with an expectation to work from our co-working space in the Central Business District, Singapore a few days a week to foster team collaboration and connection.

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable software solutions using modern technologies and best practices
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Make decisions on tough, complex problems, demonstrating a deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Champion for quality, taking responsibility for the overall quality of the product and ensuring high code quality and unit test coverage in their own work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality standards
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects from concept to production
• Proficient in agile development methodologies and collaborative development practices

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, GCP)
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, API design (REST, GraphQL), and testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools (Windsurf, Cursor) for efficiency and quality, including prompt strategies and AI output review
• Highly desirable: Experience developing on Salesforce platform or other Enterprise application development platform

• Proven experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure cloud-native applications at enterprise scale
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Independence and exceptional multi-priority management
• Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to code quality

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with performance optimization, scalability challenges, and security best practices in software development
• Previous senior or lead engineering role experience
• Open source contributions or personal projects demonstrating technical expertise

S$100,000 - S$125,000 a year

We take into account an individual’s location, qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined through relevant factors.
