Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Automation, a world-class industrial automation company, you will focus on full stack development for Digital Manufacturing solutions such as Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR, and Optimization. You will mentor team members, guide design and implementation, and decompose complex problems into simpler ones while evaluating design alternatives. Our Digital Manufacturing Software Development team values knowledge sharing, innovation, learning, collaboration, and best practices.

You will report to our Global Digital Manufacturing Architect.

Your Responsibilities
  • Write well-documented, high-performance code that meets client standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and prepare design notes including requirements, problem definition, solutions, test scenarios, and migration issues.
  • Develop iterative prototypes.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure quality through testing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and develop functional specifications.
The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
  • 7-10 years of experience in software development, particularly Industry 4.0, Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR.
  • Experience with Python, C#, Java, or similar languages.
  • Leadership in architecture, design, and development of Digital Manufacturing solutions.
  • Ability to estimate work, create and run unit and automated tests.
