We are looking for you to join our Maintenance Team in Neste Singapore Pte Ltd, Singapore Refinery. You will focus on field inspection support for day to day functions, execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs and participate in plant shutdowns. This position provides necessary and essential support to the refinery's Asset Integrity framework to obtain optimum availability and utilisation of static equipment and piping. You will work closely with the maintenance team, Asset management team, operation and turnaround team. You will interface with different stakeholders to keep the plant running reliably. Responsibilities
  • Implement the Asset Integrity framework consisting of static equipment and piping for the site.
  • Accountable to ensure the site's preventive inspection activities, including statutory equipment inspections are carried out timely and in compliance with MOM and SCDF regulations.
  • Support the site integrity improvement programs & investigations (e.g., CUI, RCAs, Bad actor eliminations, RBI) and lead implementation of the site's inspection plans. This includes championing MOC changes related to inspection improvement.
  • Act as NDT focal point and provide technical advice to the site for NDT activities.
  • Provide technical support to the site for static equipment and piping related issues. This includes troubleshooting efforts, work scope or job plan deliverables, and supporting Maintenance, Projects or Turnaround Activities.
  • Provide oversight on Quality Assurance for work done in the Turnaround, maintenance and projects. Ensure contractors are aware of Neste standards and comply with the requirements.
  • Ensure all static equipment work is covered by procedures, work instructions and QA/QC checklists and ITPs in compliance with applicable codes, standards and specifications. Audit QA/QC processes and the quality of reports/documentation when required.
  • Review NDT reports and perform remaining life calculations to monitor equipment health. Maintain remaining life calculations for risk based inspection assessment.
  • Ensure work orders for inspection recommendations are created in CMMS for rectification.
  • Keep up to date with the latest NDT methods and evaluate if they can be implemented at the site.
Qualifications
  • Minimal Diploma in Materials or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in refinery and/or petrochemical environment
  • Prior experience in inspection activities, Turnarounds, Projects and Maintenance execution and Risk-based inspection development/implementation is essential. Familiarity with damage mechanisms in the refinery is an advantage.
  • Certifications in API 510, 570, 653, CWI/CSWIP, NDT level II and knowledge of ASME/EN codes would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in CMMS (SAP) systems
  • Good communication skills and internal/external stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; promote a culture of teamwork
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to make timely decisions through good analytical and problem-solving skills
