NDT Technician Job

ALG is hiring NDT Technicians for a long-term contract with potential extension and permanent role conversion. The role involves performing NDT and BSI inspections on aircraft structures and components.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist Authorised Inspectors to perform NDT inspections.
  • Certify inspections in the specified method where applicable.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and documentation to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.
  • Maintain situational awareness and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Ensure calibration of inspection equipment before use.
  • Conduct regular checks on chemical expiry and record maintenance activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor (NDT).

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of aerospace experience and holds NAS 410/EN 4179 Level I certification on FPI. They should be able to work rotating shifts, effectively use lifting devices, and possess educational qualifications in Aviation.

Requirements:
  • Aerospace experience with NAS 410/EN 4179 Level I certification on FPI.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and utilize lifting devices safely.
  • Aviation-related education or equivalent experience.
