Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a SAP CPI Lead Consultant based in Singapore. The role involves leading the implementation and integration of SAP CPI, providing consulting services, managing master data, and optimizing business processes. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to ensure successful project delivery and continual process improvement. Only apply if you have work rights in Singapore. For this role you MUST be located in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI .
  • Analyze business requirements and map them to integration solutions.
  • Integrate SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and other cloud/on-premise systems via CPI.
  • Implement APIs, OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, and file-based integrations.
  • Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning of integration scenarios.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support for deployed integrations.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP and CPI enhancements and recommend adoption where relevant.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
  • Strong knowledge of integration protocols : SOAP, REST, SFTP, HTTPS, OData, and IDocs.
  • Experience in API Management (SAP API Management or similar).
  • Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors with cloud or third-party applications.
  • Familiarity with security concepts (OAuth 2.0, SAML, PGP encryption, digital certificates).
  • Knowledge of SAP PI/PO is an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • SAP CPI or SAP BTP certifications preferred.
