Legal Counsel (Corporate/ Commercial law) As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s legal and compliance functions. Your responsibilities include: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and vendor agreements. Advising internal stakeholders on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters. Supporting dispute resolution processes and managing litigation cases when necessary. Coordinating with external legal advisors and government authorities. Conducting legal research and preparing internal memos on legislative changes and policy updates. Ensuring legal risks are identified and mitigated across business operations. Assisting in the development and implementation of internal legal policies. Providing training and guidance to business units on legal and compliance topics. Monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations that may impact the business. Collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and transactions. What Are We Looking For? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional with: A recognized Law degree and admission to practice in Singapore or an equivalent jurisdiction. At least 5 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in-house or with a reputable law firm. Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. High level of integrity and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in managing external counsel and legal vendors. Familiarity with dispute resolution and litigation processes. A collaborative mindset and willingness to support cross-functional teams. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
