Through regular home visits, shared meals, and community events, we build meaningful friendships, provide emotional support, and ensure that no senior feels forgotten in their own home. About the role The Vice-Chairperson will play a key leadership role in supporting the Chairperson in guiding the organisation’s strategic direction and governance. This position involves close collaboration with the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer to uphold HOMEwarmers’ mission, strengthen organisational capacity, and advance long-term development goals. Key responsibilities Support the Chairperson in leading the Board and its key committees. Oversee governance, compliance, and organisational development. Provide strategic guidance to department heads and volunteer teams. Represent HOMEwarmers at official engagements, events, and partnership meetings. Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board to advance HOMEwarmers’ mission and drive sustainable growth. Candidate Profile We are seeking individuals with demonstrated leadership experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for community service, seniors’ well-being, and youth empowerment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who works well collaboratively, demonstrates sound judgment, and can commit approximately 2–3 hours per week for meetings and related discussions.
