3D Model & Animation Artist

The 3D Model & Animation Artist role involves creating high-quality 3D models and animations in collaboration with artists, designers, and developers for various media projects. You will be responsible for modeling detailed characters, environments, and props based on concept art and design specifications using software like Maya, Blender, ZBrush, or 3ds Max. Ensuring optimized models for animation and real-time applications will be a key part of your tasks.

Additionally, you will apply textures, materials, and shaders to models to achieve the desired look and feel, utilizing tools like Substance Painter and Photoshop. Rigging responsibilities include creating skeletal structures for models and implementing bones and joints for animation preparation. You will also produce high-quality animations for characters, creatures, objects, and environmental effects, utilizing keyframe animation, motion capture data, and procedural animation techniques.

Collaboration and communication are crucial aspects of this role, as you will closely work with concept artists, designers, and developers to understand project requirements and deliverables. Participation in team meetings, reviews, and brainstorming sessions is expected, along with providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance work quality.

Technical skills such as staying updated with industry trends, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing assets for performance will be necessary. Effective time management to meet deadlines, maintaining organized files, and documentation are also part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Animation, Digital Arts, Computer Graphics, or a related field, along with proven experience as a 3D Model & Animation Artist and expertise in software like Maya, Blender, ZBrush, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. Strong artistic sense, attention to detail, understanding of anatomy, form, and motion, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities are essential.

Preferred qualifications: Experience in game development, film, or television production, knowledge of scripting languages for automation, and experience with real-time engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.

The work environment is collaborative, creative, and fast-paced, offering opportunities to work on diverse and exciting projects. Career progression can lead from Junior to Senior, Lead, or Art Director roles. This is a full-time position with benefits such as food, leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and bonuses.
