About the Role
Are you passionate about driving growth and building meaningful client relationships in the construction and geotechnical space? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our client in Singapore and help lead their expansion across key market segments.
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager or Country General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in acquiring new projects, building partnerships, and overseeing the full bid-to-win process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and drive revenue growth to meet sales and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders
- Lead bid and proposal development for large-scale projects; serve as Bid Manager when required
- Provide strategic input on geotechnical solutioning and review tender submissions with management
- Monitor market trends and deliver actionable intelligence
- Negotiate contract terms and commercial agreements
- Coach and lead the tender/business development team to success
- Uphold the company's brand, image, and industry reputation
- Collaborate across departments to ensure project alignment and delivery
- Carry out other duties as required by management
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in the construction industry , especially in ground improvement or geotechnical engineering
- Hands-on experience in geotechnical design and solution development
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual project aspects
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 and MS Office tools
- A team player with solid stakeholder management and networking abilities
