Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of HR and Admin, the Human Resource Executive will be responsible for supporting the HR department by managing HR processes and ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting employees.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining and updating employee records, assisting with preparing HR-related documents, and managing HR databases.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment activities, assist in job postings, perform market research on salary benchmarks, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries, provide information on HR policies and procedures, and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims coordination, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • HR Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information and generate HR reports as needed.
  • Event Coordination: Support in organizing and coordinating employee events, meetings, and training sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resource role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian market would be a plus.
