This provides a rare opportunity to be the first Human Resources (HR) hire (circa. $60k annual base) and architect of the entire people function. This is an individual contributor role based in Singapore. Job Description Reporting into the founders directly, this position is ideal for a hands‑on and strategic individual who thrives on autonomy and is passionate about building a positive and high‑performing organisational culture from the ground up. In this role, you will: End‑to‑End HR Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. Payroll & Compliance: Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing with external vendors, ensuring accurate and timely CPF submissions, income tax reporting, and strict adherence to the Singapore Employment Act. HR Strategy & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to management on all people‑related matters, including policy implementation, employee relations, and strategic workforce planning. Employee Engagement: Champion initiatives that foster a vibrant, supportive, and engaging team environment. Process Excellence: Maintain impeccable HR records and continuously refine HR systems and processes to support organisational growth. The Successful Candidate Holds a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Possesses a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR generalist experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in SMEs or dynamic, growth‑oriented environments. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements. Is a proactive self‑starter, exceptionally organised, and capable of working independently with a high degree of integrity. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration at all levels.
