The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain.

The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Storage and Backup Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise-level storage and backup infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise inHitachi storage systems ,SAN switches ,Veritas NetBackup ,Veeam Backup & Replication , andHuawei backup solutions . This role involves day-to-day operational management, compliance and audit support, and participation in strategic projects.

  • Administer and maintainHitachi storage systems ,SAN switch infrastructure , andHuawei backup environments .
  • Manage and monitorVeritas NetBackup andVeeam Backup & Replication platforms.
  • Perform routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are in place and effective.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and change management related to storage and backup.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and externalaudit and compliance activities.
  • Participate in planning and execution ofstorage and backup-related projects .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage and backup administration.
  • Strong expertise inHitachi storage systems,SAN switch management, andHuawei backup solutions.
  • Proficient inVeritas NetBackupandVeeam Backup & Replication.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and data protection best practices.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Hitachi Certified Specialist, Veritas Certified Specialist, Veeam VMCE, Huawei Certified ICT Expert).
  • Experience in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Shell Script).
  • Familiarity with cloud storage and backup solutions.
