Responsibilities This position is for Office of Alumni Relations. Administration of Systems Work closely with the University's IT office to administer systems for the purpose of engaging alumni. Administer OAR's SharePoint. Guide end-users in the appropriate use of various systems. Provide level 1 tech support for end-users. Respond to system- and account-related queries by alumni. Database management Manage and maintain alumni database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Securely extract and clean alumni lists for outreach and import into complementary systems. Ensure matriculation and graduation updates from Registrar's Office are captured accurately and in a timely manner. Perform analytics and prepare regular reports to senior management, MOE and other relevant organisations. Other Roles Manage and upkeep OAR's IT equipment. Support alumni engagement events, occasionally on weekday evenings and weekends. Engage alumni when deployed for events. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Recognised degree in Information Systems, Computing or IT. At least 5 years of relevant experience in systems administration. Keen understanding of web and mobile applications as well as Apple, Google and Windows environments. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Dynamics 365, Office 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Qlik, VPN, Qualtrics, Cvent, Raisers' Edge and Aluminati would be an advantage. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Able to explain technical concepts to end-users in simple terms. Comfortable engaging end-users to solicit feedback and suggestions. Adaptable, detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently or as a team to meet tight deadlines. Will be required to work occasionally after office hours and weekends to support university events.
