Our client is a fast-growing data center operator in the Asia-Pacific region offering colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, interconnection and managed services.

Their portfolio spans multiple countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan. A newly created role, Head of Audit across Group entities in Asia, to establish and lead the Group’s internal audit function. This high-visibility, standalone role reports directly to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

You will shape and lead the Group’s internal audit function from day one and work closely with senior leadership and the Board.

Responsibilities
  • Be part of a fast-growing, mission-critical industry backed by global investors and build and lead the internal audit framework from the ground up, aligned with global best practices.
  • Develop and deliver risk-based audit plans across financial, operational, compliance, and technology areas.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks in data center operations, including uptime, cybersecurity, ESG, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct audits across Group entities in Asia (Singapore, India, China, Hong Kong, etc.) with a focus on financial integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Advise senior leaders and the Board, presenting audit findings and risk insights clearly and constructively.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years’ experience in audit, risk, or internal controls with proven expertise in the data centre, telecom, or digital infrastructure sector.
  • Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent) would be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks across Asia and a track record of setting up or leading internal audit functions in standalone or greenfield roles.

You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong professional judgment, the ability to work independently, and an initiative mindset.
