Responsibilities
  • Support the governance and risk analysis of cross-border data flows, contributing to compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PDPA, and other global privacy regulations. Help ensure sensitive data is appropriately identified, classified, and governed across geographies.
  • Contribute to cloud data protection initiatives by analyzing data risk signals across infrastructure (e.g., cloud buckets, storage, systems), and assist in improving data classification precision, recall, and coverage across SHEIN's cloud environments.
  • Assist in third-party data risk governance, including mapping data flows, identifying high-risk sharing scenarios, and supporting continuous efforts to reduce exposure from external partners.
  • Build and maintain analytics tools and dashboards to support data discovery, labelling accuracy, and risk governance, enabling scalable and automated data risk reviews.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts around AI data model tuning to improve the accuracy and evaluating coverage gaps, and recommending improvements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (Privacy, GRC, Engineering) to drive data risk governance with actionable analytics.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Python and common data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
  • Familiar with SQL, and preferably some experience with distributed data platforms (e.g., Hive, Spark, BigQuery).
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, especially in handling large datasets or data quality evaluation.
  • Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills; able to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for learning data security, AI/ML, and privacy technologies in a real-world enterprise environment.
  • Bonus: Experience or coursework in AI/ML, classification models, or data privacy concepts (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus but not required.
  • Language: Proficient in English; fluent Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred to support cross-regional collaboration
