As the Compliance Lead at Whimsy Global, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s regulatory foundation as we prepare for our Major Payment Institution (MPI) license application in Singapore. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a robust compliance framework that meets MAS requirements and supports the company’s future operations in payments and financial services. Responsibilities Lead and implement regulatory compliance strategies and oversee compliance programs across all areas of the business Provide proactive guidance and support on regulatory and compliance‑related matters Serve as the primary liaison with MAS and other relevant regulatory bodies; coordinate internal and external compliance requirements Develop, maintain, and enhance AML/CFT frameworks, including policies, procedures, and internal controls for the Group Collaborate closely with affiliated entities within the Group to ensure consistent compliance practices Evaluate and strengthen compliance strategies and frameworks, addressing any control gaps as needed Design and deliver ongoing compliance training and awareness initiatives for the Group Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices Maintain a strong working relationship with MAS and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, including the Payment Services Act 2019 Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in fintech, payments Strong understanding of Singapore’s regulatory framework, especially the Payment Services Act 2019 and MAS guidelines Experience in liaising with regulators such as MAS and handling regulatory submissions or audits Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve compliance frameworks, policies, and controls Familiarity with AML/CFT requirements and experience managing related risks and obligations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and with external stakeholders Detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying and resolving compliance issues Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and contributing to the setup of compliance infrastructure from the ground up #J-18808-Ljbffr
