We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Human Resources who will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our corporate human resource strategy to support our organizational vision and long-term business objectives. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead the corporate HR function and provide expert advice to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our human resources in achieving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate human resource strategy that aligns with the organization's vision and business goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of human resource activities and programs, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance evaluation, organizational and talent development, health & safety, HR administration, HR information systems, payroll, employee communications, and employment / industrial / labor relations.
  • Lead, direct, and develop a local team of HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure the efficient and consistent implementation of the corporate HR strategy within established guidelines and budgets.
  • Shape and design HR and business strategy plans, collaborating with corporate resources to execute on these plans effectively.
  • Develop and implement robust talent management and development strategies aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top talent aligned with business needs.
  • Lead initiatives for employee engagement, career development, and performance management to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness by implementing talent assessment tools, succession planning processes, and leadership development programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skills gaps, develop training programs, and ensure a strong pipeline of talent to support business growth.
  • Ensure the organization's talent management practices align with industry best practices and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Partner with the Board of Management to develop strategic organizational needs aligned with the enterprise strategy.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive board level to align the corporate HR strategy with broader business strategies.
  • Provide counsel and support to the Management Team in leadership team formation, succession planning, competency identification, and staffing development.
  • Represent the organization in interactions with external stakeholders to safeguard corporate interests and reputation.

  • The successful individual is a fast-paced and mature HR leader, proactive, and collaborative, and able to operate autonomously and have the confidence, knowledge, and gravitas to work at the executive level supporting high- profile and demanding stakeholders.
  • As the role is critical to lay out a successful and efficient HR agenda, you must influence executives and senior leaders, impact and shape the local function and HR strategy including best-in-class Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness.
  • You will require the intellectual and social agility to operate at the highest level of strategic HR business partnering. Your commercial and business knowledge is advanced. You are adept at coaching senior leaders and their teams on a cultural journey of driving business performance. You are willing to challenge the status quo and are adept at articulating your personal view and the supporting business case.
  • You have previously managed a large workforce with multi-faceted business verticals, with demonstrated mastery of the core HR practices and are able to support complex problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
