Assistant Vice President, Treasury
Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Treasury, you will be part of the Finance department, supporting their business predominantly in Singapore commercial real estate assets.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and execute financing/refinancing requirements and documentation such as bilateral/syndicated loans, debt capital markets (e.g. MTN notes), hybrid instruments (e.g. Perpetual securities) and equity fund raising Support management of the REIT’s debt portfolio to achieve well spread debt maturity profile, optimise borrowing cost, and monitor the compliance of debt covenants Execute hedging strategy by entering into swaps and forward contracts for foreign currencies and interest rate exposures Oversee and prepare regular and ad hoc reports on cash forecasts, interest rate and foreign exchange exposure, liquidity and other treasury positions for the REIT Manage relationships with banks and credit rating agencies and keep tabs on development in financial markets Work with internal stakeholders to address funding requirements and fund movements across various countries Manage treasury operations including bank account management, KYC, loan drawdowns, rollovers, distribution and interest payments Support investment evaluations and M&A activities and advise on optimal funding options and impact to overall capital structure Manage compliance certificate submissions to lenders, bond trustees, FATCA/CRS, AIFMD and other compliance matters, as required Any other duties as assignedRequirements
Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration with minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience Prior working experience in real estate is an advantage Experience in team management is preferred A self-driven individual who is meticulous and organized Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with different functions and levels and in a fast-paced environmentAssistant Vice President, Treasury
