Business Analyst, Middle Office / Corporate Action — Delta Capita

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert / Business Analyst for an Equities Settlements Migration Project focused on Middle Office or Corporate Action activities.

You will dive into existing equities settlement processes, dissecting workflows and data flows to ensure the new settlements solution is compliant, efficient, and meets business needs. This high-impact role requires deep domain expertise, strong business analysis skills, and robust project management capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for new projects and system enhancements related to Middle Office functions and corporate actions.
  • Map and analyze existing workflows for trade allocation, confirmation, and corporate action events to identify areas for process improvement and automation.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement enhancements to Middle Office and corporate actions systems, ensuring new features align with business goals and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to design optimal future-state settlement processes and solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and the bank's objectives.
  • Define test strategies, oversee the creation of detailed test cases, and actively lead and participate in testing to validate the new system’s functionality, data integrity, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate UAT with operations users, providing training and support as needed.
  • Contribute to project planning, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation for relevant project streams; monitor and report on progress against milestones.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal departments and external vendors/providers, proactively managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance or related field
  • 4–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a Middle Office / Corporate Actions role within financial services
  • Strong understanding of the equities trade lifecycle with expertise in Middle Office processes, trade allocations, confirmations, and corporate actions (e.g., dividends, mergers, stock splits)
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, including crafting user stories, BRDs, impact assessments, and functional specifications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Location and Eligibility

This is a permanent position located in Singapore. A valid working permit for Singapore is mandatory. Applications should be submitted in English.
