Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with good knowledge and experience in Murex Front Office to service our client, a top investment bank in Singapore. As a Murex Front Office Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Front Office solutions in Murex. In this role, you will gather and analyse business requirements, configure and test Front Office modules, and work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle—from scoping to go-live. You will drive high-quality results and ensure that business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse business processes and functional requirements; perform gap analysis to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Work hands-on with Murex Front Office to configure and test to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office business/functional requirements.
  • Work with users to test, achieve sign-off (UAT), and move the system toward go-live.
  • Collaborate with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines.
  • Support clients with the development of their internal project plan, including key setup/configuration tasks, scope considerations, and timelines.
  • Responsible for training users on basic use of the system and new functionality.
  • Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Analytics or relevant discipline.
  • Working experience on Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pre-trade) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, VBA Excel, and Oracle Database.
  • Knowledge and experience across at least 2 asset classes (e.g., FX, Money Market, FIX, IRD).
  • Experience in the implementation or support of a Front Office system within a bank.
  • Ability to work in a team, focused on delivering high-quality service to the client.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations.
  • Strong and demonstrable problem-solving/analytical skills.
