Sales Director, Southeast Asia

JOB TYPE : Permanent

OVERVIEW:

Sportradar are on the hunt for a dynamic, client-focused Sales Director to manage and grow our Emerging and Enterprise client portfolio across Southeast Asia. Reporting directly to the VP, Account Management – APAC, this high-impact role is central to driving our regional expansion. THE CHALLENGE

  • Develop and drive our business in the region through regular communication with C-suite executives, establishing yourself as a trustworthy and knowledgeable individual capable of influencing decision making at management level
  • Use all available resources to identify and cultivate sales opportunities to cross-sell and upsell; manage pipeline, revenue forecasts and sales activities to ensure data accuracy
  • Be the link between the client and internal development teams during the product integration phase.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams on presentations, product demos and on-site customer visits; devise new approaches to problems and work with the relevant internal teams on enhancing our capabilities and market reach
  • Contract preparation, creation and submission of proposals, sales information and presentattions

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Account Management and Sales Performance: You have demonstrated success in managing key accounts and consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets. Experience in driving growth through strategic account planning and quota ownership is essential.
  • Operational Discipline: You are consistently on top of internal deadlines relating to CRM updates, reporting and pipeline tracking. You understand the importance of follow-through and never leave stakeholders waiting – reliability and responsiveness are non-negotiable
  • Relationship Builder: Proven track record of building relationships with senior executives in complex organisations and adapting your approach depending on the person and/or circumstance.
  • Communication and Presentation: You are an excellent communicator and presenter in English and at least one other prominent Asian language, such as Mandarin. The ideal candidate shall display executive presence and confidence in customer and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge and Experience: You have a comprehensive understanding of data and API products and relevant experience in dealing with both B2B and B2C companies; those coming from a betting and gaming background will be given priority.
  • Creative and Upstream Thinking: You are expected to think independently and outside of the box, to anticipate situations and find solutions before they emerge.
  • Significant regional experience and ability to travel around Asia up to 25% of the time.
