Position Overview:

As a Senior Siebel Application Support Specialist at Miaki, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining large-scale Siebel Enterprise applications. With over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, you will lead the Siebel configuration, integration, and performance tuning efforts while managing the Dev and SIT environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, mentoring abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams, clients, and vendors.

  1. Siebel Configuration & Development: Lead the configuration of Siebel solutions using EAI, EIM, PLSQL, Control M techniques, ensuring seamless application performance and scalability.
  2. Dev and SIT Environment Management: Oversee the management of the development and system integration test environments, ensuring that Siebel changes are migrated effectively.
  3. Application Support: Provide expert-level support for Siebel installations, troubleshooting integration-related issues, and optimizing the application.
  4. Collaboration & Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, DXC management, and vendors, acting as a trusted advisor for Siebel-related solutions.
  5. Mentoring & Training: Guide and mentor new team members in Siebel application support processes, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and best practices.
  6. End-to-End Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of Siebel changes and ensure smooth migration from development to SIT environments.
  7. Technical Documentation: Maintain and update technical design documents, ensuring that all Siebel processes adhere to Miaki’s release and change management protocols.
  8. Performance Tuning: Monitor and enhance the performance of Siebel schemas and databases, including MS SQL Server and Oracle.
  9. Integration Support: Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues using Siebel EAI, web services, and MSMQ.
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. Siebel Expertise: 10+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel, including configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, and eScript.
  2. Integration Skills: Strong knowledge of Siebel integration using EAI, VBC, web services, MSMQ, and experience with Siebel Out-of-the-Box adapters and JMS queues.
  3. Database Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Siebel data model, and experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  4. Vertical Application Experience: Proven experience with at least one Siebel vertical application, such as Banking or Finance modules.
  5. SDLC Knowledge: Comprehensive exposure to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on Siebel development, business modeling, and requirement gathering.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  1. ITIL Certification: ITIL v3 or v4 certification is strongly preferred.
  2. Siebel Call Center Experience: Knowledge and experience working with Siebel Call Center or similar base applications.
  3. Client Interaction: Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of management.
  4. Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
