What the role is

You assist the development, operationalisation and management of cyber sensors in support of cybersecurity operations. You also support ongoing research for innovative and emerging sensor technologies and algorithms that will provide more accurate, timely, and actionable detection of cyber threats.

What you will be working on
  • Assist with the development, procurement, and implementation of cyber sensor solutions that can be used to enhance operations
  • Prepare regular updates on the development, operationalisation, and maintenance of cyber sensors to relevant stakeholders
  • Support ongoing research for innovative and emerging trends in cyber sensor-related developments
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of current sensor technologies, tools, and techniques
Challenge(s)
  • Thinking out-of-the-box, improvising, as well as adapting tools and techniques in order to develop comprehensive operational plans with stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance and timely delivery of cyber sensor-related goods and services
What we are looking for
  • Education in Information Security, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering-related fields
  • At least 3 years of work experience un cybersecurity and/or defence-related fields is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and fast learner
  • Strong team player mindset
