Overview

This is a marketing and business development role for the entire range of Telemecanique Sensors products in Asia Pacific Zone (except India and China). Responsibilities include adapting and executing global and local strategies, marketing communication and branding initiatives, new offer launches and product management, pricing and market analysis, marketing campaigns and trainings, and business development for market share expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Animates / leads the marketing function for Sensors in the zone
  • Assess market demands and user needs by interacting with the sales organization (direct & indirect) and through shows, customer visits, and competition analysis
  • Build sales tools, value proposition, sales presentations, battle cards and ensure sales readiness including enabling distribution partners
  • Collaborate closely with global marketing on launches and align new products with sales; provide all relevant content
  • Communicate, deploy and adapt the global and local strategy in the country
  • Contribute, in close collaboration with the Cluster Leader / Sales Manager, to the definition of the zone business commercial policy
  • Develop and strengthen customer satisfaction
  • Drive segment targeting, customer platforming and customer action plan processes with the Zone Leader
  • Ensure Marketing, Sales and Customer Care are properly trained
  • Guard profitability through product and price management
  • Conduct market research, assess competitive landscape, technology, and market trends
  • Own the product lifecycle from launch to obsolescence in the country
  • Promote new offers / solutions to the team, customers, distributors and ecommerce players
  • Forecast product lines and revenue
  • Build push/pull campaigns with the distribution team
  • Collaborate with the sales team to increase business identified, fulfilled, and especially owned by partners
  • Develop, maintain, and utilize proactive relationships with key channel management and partner programs to create new opportunities
  • Increase mind share with channel partners through regular engagement, product trainings, joint sales calls, promotional events, and solving their customers' problems to achieve sales targets
  • Focus on customer digital experience and activities as a differentiator for sustainable growth
  • Implement joint action plans between Telemecanique Sensors and the distribution channel
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience with working with OEMs and stakeholders in the sales process
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in the related industries
  • Experience with various sensor technologies is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution selling and account management in Industrial Automation to OEMs, channel or end users
  • Proven track record in business development plans that contribute to new and sustainable businesses
  • Degree in Engineering; MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred

Language:

  • Fluency in English. Any other local language knowledge is preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple demands across multiple time zones and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade internal and external customers
  • Open minded, result-oriented, and a continuous learner
  • Problem solving and influence skills; customer needs should be documented and coordinated with development engineers, marketing and offer managers
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
