- The Manager position at Pulp and Fibre in Karnataka, India requires you to oversee the Supply Chain management of all engineering spares, new equipment, and services to meet plant requirements at the best cost and specified quality. You will be responsible for vendor development, exploring new products and sources, and finding alternate product substitutions for cost reduction.In this role, you will need to create a conducive work culture that optimizes productivity and cost consciousness. It is essential to organize necessary inputs periodically to enhance competence levels in the department continuously. Your responsibilities will also include effectively procuring materials and services for the site to ensure they meet or exceed internal quality and delivery expectations at a low cost, all while securing the most favorable terms and conditions.Moreover, as the Manager, you will be required to ensure compliance with Corporate Principles and guidelines, purchasing procedures, standards, and applicable legislation. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree through Dist Education with a minimum experience level of 5-12 years.Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain, vendor relationships, and employee development to drive efficiency and effectiveness in operations.,
