  • As a Procurement Specialist at our ambitious deep-tech company based in Gurugram (NCR), India, you will play a crucial role in leading the Contracts & Procurement function for our first pilot manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement procurement strategies for the manufacturing setup, ensuring compliance with UK procurement standards and HSE guidelines. You will oversee the full contract lifecycle, including vendor scouting, RFPs, negotiations, execution, and compliance, while sourcing and onboarding suppliers for equipment, construction, and materials from IN, UK, and EU-based suppliers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines, drive cost optimization, budget control, and value engineering initiatives will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will monitor supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risks, and implement improvement plans when necessary.To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (Masters preferred) and have at least 3 years of experience in procurement and contracts, ideally within the manufacturing or energy sectors. Prior experience in greenfield or brownfield project-based procurement will be highly valued. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills are essential, along with familiarity with UK/EU supplier ecosystems and local regulations.
