Junior Legal Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Legal Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or an early-career professional looking to build a legal career in the offshore industry . You will work closely with the Legal and Compliance team to support contract management, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day legal matters.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents (e.g., charter parties, ship management agreements, service contracts).
- Provide legal support on corporate and commercial matters affecting the company.
- Conduct research on laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the marine/offshore industry.
- Support internal teams (operations, HR, procurement, finance) with legal and compliance queries.
- Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation.
- Liaise with external counsel and government agencies when required.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with international, regional, and local maritime laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship or prior exposure to corporate/maritime law is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate law; familiarity with shipping/marine regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team.
