Overview

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team and provide strategic and practical legal support across the Group. This role will focus on contracts, M&A, and corporate matters, with strong exposure to the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will bring sound legal judgment, a business-minded approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the Group’s contractual matters, ensuring effective drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of commercial agreements, with a focus on manufacturing-related contracts.
  • Advise on and support corporate transactions including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and disposals.
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice on day-to-day operational matters across business units such as business development, finance, HR, supply chain, and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the implementation of group-wide compliance policies and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct and deliver legal training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal stakeholders to enhance awareness of legal and compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with external counsel when necessary to safeguard the organisation’s interests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, admitted to the Singapore Bar (or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with strong Singapore experience).
  • 4–6 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained from a reputable law firm or in-house role within a multinational corporation.
  • Solid exposure to mergers & acquisitions and corporate transactional work.
  • Experience in the contract manufacturing or related industries will be a strong advantage.
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented with the ability to balance legal risks against business needs.
  • A self-starter who thrives under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high professional standards.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and a collaborative working style.
