About Our Client Our client is a mid-sized international corporate bank with a strong and growing presence across Asia. The bank is driving an ambitious transformation agenda to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and support continued business expansion. It now seeks a Head of Operations to lead these efforts across its corporate banking franchise. Key Responsibilities Operations leadership: Oversee end-to-end banking operations, ensuring service excellence, control integrity, and operational resilience. Transformation & efficiency: Re-engineer and automate processes to improve scalability, reduce manual touchpoints, and boost productivity. Process & control enhancement: Strengthen governance frameworks, standardize workflows, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Business partnership: Collaborate with business heads and product teams to align operational capabilities with growth objectives and client needs. Change management: Lead strategic initiatives that drive process improvement, digitization, and a client-centric operations culture. Performance oversight: Define and track KPIs, ensuring consistent delivery against service, quality, and efficiency benchmarks. Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in banking operations, preferably within corporate or wholesale banking. Proven track record in operational transformation, process improvement, and change delivery. Strong working knowledge of corporate banking products and trade finance operations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive results across business and support functions. Analytical, hands-on, and adaptable leader comfortable in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. Strong understanding of governance, controls, and regulatory expectations across operational functions.
