AVP IT Infrastructure

This role will oversee the overall implementation and delivery of IT infrastructure services and solutions, ensuring that they align with business goals and meet high-quality standards. You will be responsible for managing IT service operations, driving continuous improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless infrastructure experience.Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure services such as data centre management, Systems Administration and Operations, Network Operations, and end-user computing. You should have strong technical capabilities and understanding in these domains to actively participate in technical discussions, plans, and execution. Additionally, you will create detailed execution plans with minimal disruption and serve as the ambassador for seamless changes in infrastructure. Strong technical hands-on experience in any of the above areas would be a plus.As part of your role, you will ensure services are delivered within agreed SLAs and budgets, act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding service delivery performance and improvements, and work closely with a team of IT professionals including system administrators, network engineers, security analysts, and support staff. You will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning while monitoring and resolving escalated incidents to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.Furthermore, you will conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions to prevent future issues, collaborate with internal teams and business units to understand requirements and deliver optimal, secure, scalable solutions, and develop strategies to optimize IT infrastructure services with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. You will drive digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of emerging technologies, ensure IT infrastructure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and implement and maintain robust security measures to protect organizational data and systems.Moreover, you will work closely with Infosec teams to collaborate on audit requirements, risk mitigation activities, reporting, and review, ensure compliance and excellence in meeting regulatory requirements, and be part of a core team that works on Governance, Change, Incident Management, and Risk. The role will involve people management, service delivery, project delivery, technical issues escalation, resolution, etc.To be successful in this role, you should have 15 - 18+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3+ years in a similar delivery role with Tower Leads reporting into that position. A proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure environments in a fast-paced industry is required, along with a good understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization. Familiarity with monitoring, project management, GRC, and automation tools is also necessary.You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with an ITIL Certification preferred. Additional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, VMWare are a plus, along with a good understanding and knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 20000.
