Responsibilities
  • You will collaborate with Areas to drive GTM for aligned Solution Plays, identifying growth opportunities in the market and building clear execution plans. You will align, influence, and coach field teams, sales operations, marketing plans, business rhythms, and change management to convert strategic priorities into local execution across Microsoft core teams. This includes bringing the voice of the field and co-designing strategy and programs.
  • You will lead Sales Activation and collaborate with Activation GTM Managers to implement and champion solution plays, highly engaged signals, SPA, and other indicators. Your goal is to activate connected sales and marketing execution across segments to maximize performance and share.
  • You will collaborate with GPS for local partner-led marketing strategies and demand generation that support solution play performance. You will champion Microsoft strategy and Solution Areas, building industry presence.
  • You will be responsible for Product Leadership and act as the voice of the Customer, Partners, and Field. You will provide thought leadership on the competitive landscape, solution area gaps, sales trends, etc., to improve the GTM plan and enhance organizational capability to generate insights, learnings, and address blockers.
  • You will drive standardized rhythms and tools that increase customer and partner-facing time for sellers, and activate leaders and managers on investments and resource optimization, leveraging data and analysis.
  • You will exemplify Microsoft Values, Culture, and Leadership Principles. You will create clarity by fostering shared understanding and a clear course of action. You will be a boundary-less leader who pursues the right outcomes to achieve success.
  • You will model living the Microsoft culture, drive our leadership principles, and engage in coaching, caring, and modeling behaviors to drive business performance.
Qualifications
  • Required: 10+ years in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, 10+ years managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation within a complex organization.
